Kia Sportage: Mirror / Outside Rear View Mirror Repair procedures
Put on gloves to protect your hands.

Use a plastic panel removal tool to remove interior trim pieces
without marring the surface.

• |
Take care not to bend or scratch the trim and panels.
|

1. |
Remove the front door Trim.
(Refer to Front Door - "Front Door Trim")
|
2. |
Disconnect the outside rear view mirror connector (A) and loosen the
mounting bolts.
Tightening torque :
6.9 - 10.8 N·m (0.7 - 1.1 kgf·m, 5.1 - 8.0 lb·ft)

Remove the outside rear view mirror (A).

4. |
Remove the turn signal lamp.
(Refer to Body Electrical System - "Turn Signal Lamp")

5. |
Install in the reverse order of removal.

Make sure the connector is connected properly.
|

|
Replace any damaged clips.
