Replacement

1.	Discharge refrigerant from the refrigeration system.

Replace faulty tube or hose.

Cap the open fittings immediately to keep moisture or dirt out of the system.

Tighten the bolt or nut joint to the specified torque.

Connections should not be tightened to exceed the specified torque.

Evacuate air in the refrigeration system and charge system with refrigerant.

Specified amount

550 ± 25g (19.4 ± 0.88 oz.)

5.	Inspect for leakage of refrigerant. Using a gas leak detector, check for refrigerant leakage.

6.	Inspect A/C operation.
