Kia Sportage: Front / Rear Parking Assist System / Front Rear Parking Assist System Switch Repair procedures

Removal

1.	Disconnect the negative (-) battery terminal.

2.	Remove the console upper cover. (Refer to Body - "Floor Console Assembly")

3.	Disconnect the console upper cover switch connector (A).

Remove the console upper cover switch (A) after loosening the screws.

Put on gloves to prevent hand injuries.

Installation

1.	Install the console upper cover switch.

2.	Install the console upper cover.

Connect the negative (-) battery terminal.

•	Make sure that the connectors are plugged in properly.

•	Check the RPAS system for normal operation.
