Replacement

Put on gloves to protect your hands.

•	Use a plastic panel removal tool to remove interior trim pieces without marring the surface.

•	Take care not to bend or scratch the trim and panels.

1.	Remove the tail gate upper trim. (Refer to Tail Gate - "Tail Gate Trim")

2.	Remove the anti-pinch strip. (Refer to Body Electrical System - "Anti-Pinch Strip")

3.	Disconnect the washer nozzle (A) and high mounted stop lamp connector (B).

Remove the cap (A) and then loosen the rear spoiler mounting nuts (A).

Tightening torque :

5.9 - 6.4 N·m (0.6 - 0.65 kgf·m, 4.3 - 4.7 lb·ft)

Remove the rear spoiler (A).

•	Make sure the connector is connected properly.

•	Replace any damaged clips.
