Head Lamp Washer Motor

When servicing the washer pump, be careful not to damage the
washer pump seal.
|

Do not operate the washer pump before filling the washer reservoir.
|
| • |
Failure to do so could result in premature pump failure.
|
|
| 1. |
Disconnect the negative (-) battery terminal.
|
| 2. |
Remove the engine room under cover.
(Refer to Engine Mechanical System - "Engine Room Under Cover")
|
| 3. |
Remove the front wheel guard [RH].
(Refer to Body - "Front Wheel Guard")
|
| 4. |
Drain the washer fluid to less than 650 cc.
|
| 5. |
Disconnect the washer hose (A) and head lamp washer motor connector
(B).
|
| 6. |
Remove the head lamp washer motor (C) after loosening mounting screw.

Head Lamp Washer Actuator
| 1. |
Disconnect the negative (-) battery terminal.
|
| 2. |
Remove the front bumper cover.
(Refer to Body - "Front Bumper Cover")
|
| 3. |
Remove the head lamp washer actuator (A) after loosening the mounting
bolts (C) and remove the hose (B).

Head Lamp Washer Motor
| 1. |
If necessary, clean the washer motor filter.
|
Before installing the pump motor, check the filter for any foreign
material or contamination. If necessary, clean the filter in
the pump motor.
|
|
| 2. |
Install the head lamp washer motor.
|
| 3. |
Connect the head lamp washer motor connector.
|
| 4. |
Install the front wheel guard [RH].
|
| 5. |
Install the engine room under cover.
|
| 6. |
Connect the negative (-) battery terminal.
|
Head Lamp Washer Actuator
| 1. |
Install the head lamp washer actuator.
|
| 2. |
Install the front bumper cover.
|
| 3. |
Connect the negative (-) battery terminal.
