Kia Sportage: Air conditioning System / A/C Pressure Transducer Description and operation
A/C pressure transducer converts the pressure value of high pressure line into
voltage value after measuring it. Based on the converted voltage value, engine
ECU controls cooling fan by operating it at high or low speed. Engine ECU stops
the operation of compressor when the temperature of refrigerant line is too
high or low irregularly to optimize air conditioning system.
