| Removal and Installation |
| 1. |
Remove the engine cover.
(Refer to Engine and Transaxle Assembly - "Engine Room Under Cover")

| 2. |
Drain the engine coolant so its level is below water temperature control
assembly.
(Refer to Cooling System - "Coolant")
|
| 3. |
Remove the air cleaner assembly.
(Refer to Intake and Exhaust System - “Air Cleaner”)
|
| 4. |
Remove the battery.
(Engine Electrical System - "Battery")
|
| 5. |
Disconnect the wiring connectors and harness clamps and remove the connector
brackets around the water temperature control assembly.
|
| 6. |
Disconnect the radiator upper hose (A) and lower hose (B).
|
| 7. |
Disconnect the heater hoses (A).
|
| 8. |
Disconnect the throttle body coolant hoses (A) and the oil cooler hoses
(B).
|
| 9. |
Remove the water temperature control assembly (A) with the water inlet
pipe.
|
| 10. |
Remove the water inlet pipe (A) from the water temperature control assembly.
|
| 11. |
Install in the reverse order of removal.
|
| 12. |
Fill the engine coolant.
(Refer to Cooling System - "Coolant")
|
| 13. |
Start engine and check for leaks.
