Inspection

1.	Connect the KDS/GDS on the Data Link Connector (DLC).

2.	Turn the ignition switch ON.

Measure the output voltage of the APS 1 and 2 at C.T and W.O.T.

Accelerator Position	Output Voltage (V) [Vref = 5V]
Accelerator Position	APS1	APS2
C.T	0.7 - 0.8	0.33 - 0.43
W.O.T	3.98 - 4.22	1.93 - 2.17

Removal

1.	Turn the ignition switch OFF and disconnect the battery negative (-) terminal.

2.	Disconnect the accelerator position sensor connector (A).

Remove the accelerator position sensor (B) after loosening the mounting bolts.

Accelerator pedal sensor mounting bolt :

8.8 - 13.7 N·m (0.9 - 1.4 kgf·m, 6.5 - 10.1 lb·ft)

Installation

1.	Install in the reverse order of removal.
